In this sourdough class, we will cover everything from choosing good ingredients, to working with a starter, to baking off beautiful loaves of bread. Whether you are brand new to sourdough or you have been baking for years, this class is designed to give you a better understanding of natural fermentation in bread and how to bring this traditional practice to your kitchen.

Saturday-Sunday

8am-1pm // 8am-11am

The weekend course includes:

  • 8 to 9 hours of teaching, group dialogue and hands on bread making 

  • An 18 year old starter(!) 

  • A bread scoring tool

  • A bowl scraper

  • Your own sourdough loaf (one you mix and bake, start to finish)

  • Lunch on Saturday and Oak Cliff Coffee each morning

  • A folder containing all material covered in class and recipes to take home
